How this generator places your teachers' lessons
The placement method follows five simple rules, applied at every generation to build a realistic timetable.
- A class never has more than one lesson per time slot.
- A teacher is never assigned to two classes at the same time.
- The number of declared rooms bounds the number of simultaneous lessons.
- Each teacher's declared unavailability is always respected.
- Placement is drawn at random from a seed shown next to the result, so you can regenerate another version.

The generator can print two views in A4 landscape: one page per level and one page per teacher, generated directly from the browser.
No extra software is needed: printing uses the browser's standard print function.
